Privacy Centre — Crucible
A plain-English companion to our formal Privacy Policy. This answers the questions people actually have.
What we remember
Crucible stores your conversation history and extracted memory facts so it can offer continuity across sessions — recalling what matters to you and where you left off. You can delete this at any time from Settings.
What we never do
- We do not train AI models on your conversations.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- Audio from Meeting Secretary is transcribed in-session and never written to disk or stored on our servers.
The honest AI-engine note
Your messages are processed by third-party AI engines (currently Anthropic or OpenAI, chosen per mode) to generate responses. We use their business APIs, whose terms commit not to train on data sent through them. Crucible does not use API data for training, and the engine behind each mode is swappable by design.
Your controls
Export your data, delete your memory, or close your account from in-app Settings. Cookie preferences can be managed via the cookie consent banner.
Therapist mode
Therapist conversations are stored with the same protections as all other modes. Crucible is not a medical or crisis service; a referral directory is provided for professional support.
